about sara shadravan

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time.” ~Fred Rogers

Sara is known for her enthusiasm and her love of learning. She has a background in Montessori education and has worked for the past 25 years as a teacher, curriculum developer, educational leader and parent coach to transform communities. Her collaborative approach uncovers personal gifts, hidden potential and untapped innovation for students, educators, parents, and administrators.

As a developer of cultures and curricula for both young learners and teens, her results are consistently relevant, balanced and action-oriented. Utilizing the skills of social emotional intelligence, keen observation and open communication, Sara values nurturing the individual while honoring the complete learning process—for all involved.

Sara has spent time in administration as Head of School, Principal, Assistant Principal and as part of a Senior Education Team. Inside the classroom, she has taught diverse students in many countries—including Eswatini, Cambodia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and China. She has also served as a youth program facilitator and as a coach to parents, educators and administrators.

In addition to her work with school communities, Sara accompanies new and seasoned families in defining their parenting beliefs and applying evidence-based practices to cultivate a home environment that organically nurtures learning. Her experience as an early childhood educator as well as a mother and grandmother allow her to support families in finding the joys of everyday parenting while growing their understanding of their child's development and its application in daily family life.
